JavaScript Job: QA Manager

What you will be doing:

• Build, mentor and lead a hybrid-remote distributed QA team with members located

across all Spain

• Managing automation frameworks for UI and API testing

• Perform analysis, research, and interpretation of business requirements to develop the

test design and automation solution

• Install, maintain and configure automation projects for your team.

• Monitor the KPIs of your team.

• A combination of manual functional/non-functional testing and test automation.

• Working closely with QA, PM/BA and developers to understand product specifics and

create corresponding test plans.

• Testing a multi-platform product [Android, iOS, Web, CMS, backend services -APIs].

• Ensuring the documentation is self-explanatory, reliable, and updated.

• Define and automate test cases for our multi-platform product

• Estimate and distribute test activities needed per sprint with the QA's assigned to the

team.

• Coordinate/Schedule the test activities with the QAs assigned to your team.

• Verify that the quality standards and best practices agreed by the QA department and

company procedures are met inside of the team.

• Help the team to overcome blockers.

• Communicate and keep updated the testing priorities for the QAs in your team coming

from the business.

• Provide feedback to the Head of QA and stakeholders about progress, blockers and

deviation from the plan.

• Identify and inform about test dependencies with other teams to book testing support in

advance from other teams.

• Participate in the recruiting process for new members of the QA team.

• Work closely with the Head of QA to improve the quality process.

What we expect from you:

• +2 years of experience as QA Lead

• +4 year of experience as QA

• +2 year of experience in automation working with some of the following technologies:

Appium, Selenium, Cucumber, SelenoId, Jmeter, Java, Python, JavaScript, REST-

Assured, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions

• Experience in API testing

• Clear concept of different types of test

• Experience with CVS mainly GIT/Bitbucket

• Experience with Test Management tools and Task management/Tracking tools like:

XRay, TestRails, Jira, HP ALM

• Excellent English communication skills, speaking, and writing

• Self-taught and highly perfectionist

It will also be highly valued if:

• You have ISTQB certifications

• You have experience in Performance test: load and stress testing

• You have experience testing message brokers

• You have experience using Cloud services like AWS services: CloudWatch, EC2, S3 and

others

• You have experience with Docker and CI/CD
